MaySpace is the leading organization in training and testing in Vietnam for Music in general and Piano in particular. We have a team of lecturers with a high level of pedagogy and expertise. Additionally, MaySpace has experiences in organizing a lot of exams and performing arts in both domestic and international venues. After 5 years of operation, MaySpace has received many positive reviews from parents and students. Many MaySpace students have achieved high results at domestic and international exams.
Realizing the enormous demand for performing and taking standard exams from students in Vietnam, MaySpace Music Academy has cooperated with prestigious music testing partners in Vietnam and abroad. Attending this program, students will have the opportunity to meet famous domestic and foreign artists and teachers as jury members. At this International competition and performance program, participants will also have the opportunity to interact with students from all over the world.

2. Competitors’ benefits
1. Participants of Rising Star International Arts Festival & Competition will have the opportunity to receive awards from the organizers and become representatives of Vietnam to attend competitions and festival taking places at Carnegie Hall (Manhattan, New York – USA) and Sydney Opera House (Sydney – Australia).
2. Rising Star International Arts Festival & Competition will be an opportunity for students to improve their artistic skills and exchange and learn with international friends from more than 20 countries and territories around the world.
3. In addition, the Rising Star International Arts Festival & Competition certificate is considered a passport, a perfect stepping stone for those wishing to pursue a professional music path at home and abroad.
3. Objective of the competition
1. The international music contest for children organized by MaySpace will give contestants the opportunity to express themselves and verify their quality through exams with a panel of international and Vietnamese senior experts.
2. The number of participants is large, with uniformed quality
3. Create a buzz in the arts learning community and art examination in Vietnam and other countries in the region
4. Becoming a top competition, held annually, prestigious and providing development opportunities for contestants in the region in the near future.
Contest details
4.1. Type of exam:
·For 3 subjects Guitar, Violin and Cello, there is only 1 type of competition: Festival
·There are 2 types of competition for Piano: Festival (Piano Solo & Piano Duo & Chamber Music) and Competition (Piano Solo)
4.2. Expected form of exam:
·Preliminary round: Online test format
·Final round: Online test format (through live stream)
4.3. Exam process:
·Preliminary (Online):
o Register on the official website of the program and receive instructions for video submission
o Submit the performance video online
o Receive confirmation on successful registration (including documents, performance video & fees) from the organizers
o Jury Board evaluate and give scores for each contestant’s submission
o Publish results online
·Finals (Online):
o Candidates moving onto the final round will register online through the official website
o Receive confirmation of successful registration (including documents & fees)
o Jury board evaluate and give scores on contestants performance (through live stream)
o Results will be posted on MaySpace Music Academy Facebook page (EDD August 30th, 2021). Judge’s commentary notes and prizes will be mailed to the participants.
(Note: Participant’s performance duration must adhere to the competition’s guidelines. The board of jury has the right to stop participants if their performance exceeds the allowed time limit.)
4.4. How to submit the preliminary test:
·Contestants register through the online system and receive instructions to submit the performance video
·Video submission:
o Video must be taken with contestant and his/her hands within the video frame
o Candidates introduce themselves and their repertoire
o The submitted video must be the original video, there absolutely cannot be any editing involved
o Maximum duration: 5 minutes
o DO use a Grand piano for the best sound quality (submissions with digital pianos are not accepted)
o Upload videos to your personal Youtube or Facebook in public mode
o Send the link of the uploaded video to the organizers
o Hanoi Candidates may take the test live at the May Space Academy Headquarters with Grand Piano and studio-grade sound equipment

d. Customer service and support team during the entire Festival period (Hotline number & desk personnel at MaySpace locations…)
e. Coordinate with professional organizations and institutions (Vietnam National Academy of Music, music academies all across Vietnam, etc.)

All agreements with MaySpace will be written into a legal document that is valid in Vietnam.
